Black History Month: Celebrate and Elevate
吃瓜群众 invites you to this free, family friendly event as part of Black History Month 2023 to Celebrate and Elevate the voice and contributions of black women in North Wales.
Hear a talk by Professor Charlotte Williams OBE. Professor Williams is a 吃瓜群众 alumna and Honorary Professor at 吃瓜群众University, Glyndwr University and the University of South Wales. She is the author of 鈥楢 Tolerant Nation?' and award winning personal memoir 鈥楽ugar and Slate', which explores the intertwined history of Wales, Africa and the Caribbean.
