John Phillips Hall (north meadow)
This site has an open aspect and is dominated by native grasses, including Dactylis glomerata, Holcus lanatus, Festuca rubra, Lolium perenne, Poa pretensis, and Anthoxantum odoratum. Additionally, there is a scrub area composed of Rubus fruticosus (bramble), Prunus spinosa (blackthorn), and Cuprocyparis leylandii (Leyland cypress). This habitat provides essential support for pollinators, various insects, birds, and small mammals.
