Why choose ³Ô¹ÏȺÖÚ? 

I chose to study in ³Ô¹ÏȺÖÚ for a variety of reasons. The main reason was the course. It has such a varied choice of modules, which really allow you to explore your own interests and undertake a truly unique degree with many specialisms.

Of course, another reason that influenced my choice of university was the connection that ³Ô¹ÏȺÖÚ has with the natural world. From the foot of Snowdonia you only have to travel a few miles in any direction before you reach a mountain, forest, beach, or sunset.

As a Zoologist, studying at an institution which is so interconnected with the natural world is especially important to me. 

The course...

The best thing that my course has provided so far for me is all the opportunities that have been offered. These include the second year field course where I went to Florida to conduct fieldwork and modules which can help in life after University such as providing the experience of creating research proposals and scientific posters or mock assessment centres and interviews depending on what career you would like to peruse. 

Clubs and Societies

Although I have never ridden a horse in my life, I am an active part of the ³Ô¹ÏȺÖÚ Equestrian Club where I occasionally help out at both their home and away competitions. I also occasionally try to attend ³Ô¹ÏȺÖÚ Archery Club when my schedule allows it. 

Life in ³Ô¹ÏȺÖÚ

The kind and caring atmosphere of the university is something which allows me to explore my interests and future life in a safe environment which, for me was exactly what I was looking for when I came to university. This along with the proximity to nature and the natural world make ³Ô¹ÏȺÖÚ the best place for me to live and study.
